Dealers will be looking harder for new-car buyers this fall. They also should be on the lookout for vehicles that were damaged by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Firms specializing in salvaging flood-damaged vehicles will send tens of thousands of those cars and trucks to auctions around the country.
