Kelly and Lewis Honored for 10 Years of Service

April 15 , 2004 marked the completion of 10 continuous tax seasons with James & Co. Business Advisors/CPAs for Debra L. Kelley, MT, CPA and Paula J. Lewis. The two team members were honored for their milestone of dedicated service with the firm.

James & Co.'s Director of Tax Services, Debra L. Kelley, earned her Masters of Taxation from The American University in Washington, DC, and a Bachelor of Science, Accounting from Weber State University. In addition to over 20 years experience in public accounting, Debra’s background includes extensive tax training. She attends approximately 50 hours of continued educational courses each year to stay abreast of changing tax laws. Specializing in financial strategies to minimize tax obligations and maximize personal wealth, she has extensive experience includes income, estate and gift tax planning.
Debra serves on the Estate Planning Council for Weber & Davis Counties. She is a member of AICPA and UACPA.

Paula J. Lewis was also honored for 10 years of service as office manager of James & Co. Business Advisors/CPAs. Paula received an Associate degree in Office Administration from Southwest Missouri State University. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts, Management / Organizational Development from the University of Phoenix.

Her background includes administrative experience at the international headquarters of a Fortune 500 corporation, and human resources responsibilities at a national aerospace company. Paula has attended the national conference for the Association of Accounting Administration and recently attended the Blueprint for Success retreat on building excellence in CPA firms.
