Mary E. Markeson, MAcc, CPA, was recently promoted to Director of Audit Services at James & Co. Business Advisors/CPAs. Mary joined James & Co. in 1996. She earned a B.A. from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, as well as a B.S. in Accounting and Masters Degree in Accounting with emphasis in taxation from Utah State University.

Her background includes more than seven years experience in public accounting, and 12 years in the banking and commercial loan industry. Mary specializes in accounting and consulting services for auto dealership, manufacturing and service industries.

Mary is a member of the UACPA, AICPA, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Northern Utah Chapter of RMA (Risk Management Associates) . RMA's purpose is to foster superior standards and performance in the practice and management of lending and credit activities in the financial services industry.
