James & Co. Business Advisors / CPAs recently announced the appointment of Dakon E. Mortenson, CPA, as Tax Manager. Mortenson was recruited to the James & Co. team from California, where he served with Ernst & Young LLP’s Federal Tax Minimization Practice. With more than ten years experience, his extensive background also includes experience with Arthur Andersen LLP in Salt Lake City and New Mexico as a senior tax associate.
Dakon graduated from the University of Utah with a Master of Professional Accountancy, Taxation degree, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, where he was awarded an Honors at Entrance Scholarship.
